WordPress has been updated to version 4.7, and as always we recommend everyone to press that nagging update button in the admin interface. Just make sure you have a backup first, in case something goes wrong.
Odd Alice participated in two sessions at WordCamp Stockholm 2016. Mattias spoke about the REST API and React (in English), and Thord moderated a panel discussion about WordPress (in Swedish). All WordCamp Stockholm sessions were filmed, so you can view them on the official web site, which our Anders built for the event.
We’re pleased to be able to welcome Jesper Bylund back to Odd Alice, after some time working at other companies and with exciting startups. Jesper’s also running BlankPage, the first satellite project to graduate from Odd Alice, so we’re extra happy to welcome him back because of that.
WordPress version 4.6 was released recently, and it’s one of those updates that won’t install automatically. We urge all client, and self-hosted WordPress users in general, to keep their installs up to date. Login to your WordPress admin interface, and click the update button if you haven’t already.
